How cute is this brother and sister!!! (Nevermind Maddy's messy hair.)
We all went to the doctor yesterday. Peyton was due for 4 month well-check and Maddy needed a physical form filled out to start pre-school in a couple of months.
Peyton weighed 13 pounds and 9 ounces. He is 25 inches long and almost doing all of his tricks. He ranked in 58% for his height and 27% for his weight. He received three lovely shots yesterday and cried horribly holding his breath, but no fever and not overly fussy through the evening. Peyton still eats breast milk about every three hours, takes really good naps in the morning and shorter ones in the afternoon. He is a great sleeper at night, usually from about 11:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. and we are thinking about moving him to his bedroom in the near future. He is holding his head up all by himself, rolling over from tummy to back and we've seen him go from back to tummy once. He is making lots of noise and sounds and whether you smile at him or not he will be smiling at you. He can be crying one minute because you are simply not holding him and the minute you have him in your arms and talk to him, he grins from ear to ear. Maddy loves to make him smile.
Madalyn did great with her physical. I think she was almost excited to have a doctors visit. She weighs 29 pounds and is about 38 inches tall. She is in the 75% for height and 28% for weight. We like consistency!! She can name all her colors and can count to about 13 without help. She can get dressed by herself, jump up and down, give thumbs up, decide between small and big, and probably could fix her own bowl of cereal although I'm not sure how much would make it in the bowl. Those are just all the silly questions they ask at the doctors visit. Maddy was not supposed to have to get a shot, but one of her immunizations was updated, therefore they recommended. So I told her she needed to get one and she said, "Okay Mom!" Like I guess, if I have to. She cried but only for a minute, she was very brave.
