Motherhood Guilt Sucks!

Okay so it happened Madalyn has her first battle wounds, however her mothers seem to not healing as quickly. All in time I suppose. Thursday morning we were doing our normal routine and Madalyn was crawling around playing while Jay and I were getting ready for work. I had just finished curling my hair and turned to unplug the damn thing when Madalyn reached up and pulled on the middle of the cord and pulled the curling iron down on her. As you can see below it hit her precious face and her right hand, mainly her thumb and wrist. Yep you guessed it the same thumb she sucks. So we took her to prompt care as soon as they opened and they said her burns were first and second degree and they put these horrible bandages on her. She is a trooper, the only time she cried was while they were putting the bandages on. Before and after smiles all the way. When we left she was waving bye bye at all the nurses with her good hand. Daddy took her to see Dr. Korte on Friday morning and she is going to be o.k. and she shouldn't have any scars. Thank goodness!!!! Her injuries haven't stopped her one bit she is still crawling and pulling up like no body's business. So pray that Madalyn will continue to heal and no infection.
